Griddle Fried Peas Bread (Paratha)
   
   

Ingredients

1½      cups wheat flour
4         cups frozen thaw and coarsely blend peas
½        teaspoon chili powder
2         teaspoons cumin seeds
½        teaspoon garam masala
4         teaspoons fennel seeds
4         tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
2         teaspoons salt (according to taste)
           oil for cooking
           wheat flour for rolling
           water as you needed

   

Step 1
Mix all the ingredients and ..
  

Step 2
knead to tight dough, using enough water.
  

Step 3
Divide the dough into 12 to 14 equal portions.
  

Step 4
Roll out each portion into a 4 inch diameter circle(paratha).
  

Step 5
Use little flour while rolling to prevent sticking.
  

Step 6
Heat the frying pan or tava. Cook each paratha on both sides using teaspoon oil.
  

Step 7
Cook until brown spots appear nice and crispy on both sides.
  

Step 8
Serve hot with yogurt, chutney or pickles. Note: You can bake the paratha and later you can serve the same with butter.
