Rice
   
   

Ingredients

1    cup basmati or plain rice
½   teaspoon salt (according to taste)
2    cups water
1    tablespoon butter

 

   

Step 1
Wash rice. Then soak the rice for 30-40 minutes. (If you do not have time to soak, use extra l/4 cup of water and cook for a few extra minutes.)
  

Step 2
Drain the rice, add salt, butter and water. Mix well. Cook for 10 minutes.
  

Step 3
Remove the bowl from microwave .......
  

Step 4
and mix again.
  

Step 5
Cover and cook for 6 minutes or until rice is done
  

Step 6
